Jerry Pujals

Founder and President

Jerry Pujals is the founder and president of Zhone Coaching, the fastest growing coaching company in the United States. As the top sales coach and motivational speaker in the real estate industry, he empowers real estate professionals to be extraordinary.

Jerry’s real estate career began when he was broke. Ten years ago his produce business failed despite working 70 hours per week. The lessons that he learned were invaluable and his subsequent venture as a Realtor® brought more success than he imagined. He consistently ranked in the top one percent of agents nationwide selling more than 100 homes per year – all while working less than three days per week. He credits his achievements to coaching. The fact is that most CEOs of Fortune 500 companies attribute their success to business coaching they receive on the job. Jerry has made coaching a reality for thousands of real estate agents and brokers through Zhone Coaching.

As a passionate, results-driven speaker, Jerry empowers audiences across the nation with his practical and effective approach to the business. He is the author of the best seller Secrets to Real Estate Success and Kick it Up a Notch Marketing.

Jerry resides with Susan, his wife of 20 years, and four children in the wine country of Napa Valley, Calif. Their vineyard produces some of the valley’s best cabernet grapes.

Michael McDevitt

CEO

As a cofounder and CEO of Zhone Coaching, Mike provides business coaching services to independent real estate companies. Unlike real estate franchises, Mike believes that most independent real estate companies lack the infrastructure and focus required for success. As a certified business coach, Mike provides structure and clarity as a partner in the business development process with his clients. His interests are deeply rooted in organizational development and working with family businesses.

Mike’s journey in real estate finance began on Wall Street in 1997 as the senior real estate analyst for GMAC Commercial Mortgage. As a lender he originated more than $750 million in conduit loan transactions. His specialty was structuring complex loans including a $48 million loan for a 120,000 square-foot retail center in Old Town Pasadena anchored by major brands such as Crate & Barrel, AMC Theaters and Gordon Biersch. His clients included institutional investors, REIT’s, and some of the wealthiest business owners in the U.S.

In 2001 Mike and his wife Denae moved to Napa Valley for a lifestyle change. The couple added two sons, Liam and Caden, and are currently expecting their third child.

Mike continued to consult with small businesses in Northern California while competing on two professional golf tours. After qualifying to be a PGA teaching professional, he became interested in business coaching and its impact on business development in comparison to the limits of the prevailing consulting model. Zhone Coaching is the realization of his vision to merge his real estate career with his passion for coaching.

Mike graduate cum laude from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles where he received the highest honor from Financial Executives International.

Carrie Wilson

Director of Coaches

Carrie Wilson is responsible for coaching and training of all Zhone coaches. She is a certified business coach and behavioral assessment specialist who empowers business leaders to focus on their best. Carrie’s ability to see new perspectives motivates clients to make significant and powerful shifts in their mindsets.

Carrie entered the real estate in industry as a sales agent in 2004 after working for nine years in the Welfare Fraud department of the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office. Carrie’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to a new career that would satisfy her passion to see others succeed. Being able to own her own business and make a positive difference in the lives of others attracted Carrie to real estate.

In 2004, Carrie joined a small real estate sales and lending company. The next year she transitioned to selling real estate for Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley in Napa, Calif. Carrie was soon working side by side with Jerry Pujals as a buyer’s agent. She quickly became a powerful salesperson and instinctively participated in coaching and mentoring sales agents.

It was a natural step for Carrie to leave Coldwell Banker to join Jerry in creating Zhone Coaching. Today she enjoys helping other professionals transform barriers into opportunities.

Carl Miller

Vice President of Business Development

Carl Miller’s passion for corporate development was fueled by his studies in organizational communications at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Carl is an avid volleyball player who uses the principals of competition and teamwork learned on the court to help real estate professionals and offices realize their full potential.

His 12-year career in corporate development has focused on working with executives, sales leaders and teams to create corporate culture that drives sustainable growth. Carl has worked with start-up and public companies in North and South America, Europe and Asia, including Telefonica, Gradiente, Cobion, Pronto Networks, Telecom Italia and Kowa.

As a Zhone business coach, Carl’s passion is leadership development. He teaches leaders to be powerful coaches and to apply coaching tools in their organizations.

The San Francisco Business Times recognized Carl as a “Top of the List” professional for his entrepreneurial vision.
